My Bucket List (100 Things I Want To Do Before I Die)

By now, you’re probably already bored of my travel blog posts. I do apologize, but I’m just the kind of person who makes a series out of everything. I like slicing the events of my life into chewable days so they’re not all one time, big time. Anyway, let me do something different today. I want to share with you my very own Bucket List. Actually, now, I wrote it down clearly saying it’s the “List of 100 things I want to do before I die”, but that’s about the same thing, right? I don’t have the 100 items on my list yet. I’m working on them, though. 🙂 I…

    Magic Monday | Vol. 12

Oh boy. And just like that, it’s Monday again. But you know what’s exciting about a new week? Exactly what it is – a new week. Seven new days to be productive, to create memories, and to be kind to others and to yourself. I know Mondays make you itch. I feel the same way most of the time. But we can totally counter that by jotting down happy thoughts like the eventful things that happened to us over the weekend. A LITTLE TIP: Whenever I feel crappy, I try to look back on the past few days and rack my brain of places, people, and occasions that made me…

    Life Lately | 6th

According to my entire Life Lately blog posts, this is my 6th. For what it’s worth, I’m doing another one because I feel the need to vent out some kept emotions and who’s a better audience than my blog readers? I know I’ve been blogging consistently, or so I think, but I haven’t really been sharing about my life lately. I feel unsually down right now so this might come off as a sadder blog post than what I’d do on a normal day. Brace yourselves, though, as this will be a bit lengthy.

    Magic Monday | Volume 3

Wait, it’s Monday again already? How the heck did that happen? Oh well, time to #adult again and deal with another work week. Before you start grunting though, if you haven’t already, I just want to remind you that Mondays do not have to be as gloomy as your face or your attitude towards it. Come and let’s see some fancy and happy things we can carry over the coming days. Here’s a listicle of mine: We went to Baguio City over the weekend and it was a simply relaxing and refreshing weekend. It felt good to be away from my gadgets (unless I’m snapping photos or talking to Shane…

    Magic Monday | Volume 2

Are you ready for Monday? It’s a new week ahead, but this time, it’s not going to be as fun-filled and care-free as the past few days have been. Now that the holidays are over, we’re going back to reality but it doesn’t mean that we all have to be cranky about it. In fact, we should be welcoming it with a huge hug and grateful heart that we have work to keep us busy and help put food on our tables. I know I’m one of the people that doesn’t escape from work complaints but I still appreciate the fact that everyday I have a goal to accomplish, everyday…

    #IAMFLAWSOME

The twins Stacy and Danah published their online magazine Plump’s October issue and with it came their campaign for women to embody their flaws by embracing them and being totally okay about it, despite the remorse that comes from other people. Funny how others find it easier to despise our bodies when we give the complete opposite treatment – we love our bodies endlessly and claim that beauty indeed is in the eye of the beholder, and that’s us! Stacy dropped me a direct message on Instagram at 10 pm on Thursday, asking for my Facebook name. She said she needed to tag me on a post. I had no…

The Sunday Currently | Vol. 5

I hate having to add “Vol. 5″ right after saving the header because I just remembered putting it at the last minute to be consistent with all other The Sunday Currently volumes. But anyway, it’s the first time I’m writing Sunday on an afternoon instead of before sleeping, so this should be more interesting.. Reading Kevin Kwan’s Crazy Rich Asians. Ahh, it’s so good! Writing The Sunday Currently Vol. 5, and Books I wanna read before I leave earth Listening Sound come off from the fan, sounds coming from the other room (not sure if it’s music or a movie) Thinking Why my neck is hurting so bad and what’s happening…

How I Got A Needle In My Vein

I have been feeling unwell since Tuesday this week and it only got worse by the day. On Tuesday, I started having a bad case of stomach ache but I was able to shrug it off by going to the comfort room when needed, thus taking more breaks during work, but I pushed on. On Wednesday, I had a really bad headache, which resulted in me craving for soup and wearing a sweater when we headed out for dinner despite the normal temperature. It rained, but it wasn’t even chilly. And I sweat easily so a sweater was a bold move. I didn’t take any kind of medicine or painkiller…
