About 3 months ago, I checked off an item on my bucket list – #46. Go to a concert. On July 21, 2017, at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura, Taguig City, I saw Oh Wonder perform for the very first time. Back then, I had no idea about their music, their duo, etc. Basically, I was clueless.
But I’m happy I got dragged into this concert because now I have new artists to listen to. I had Jhanzey with me that time so I was able to get a rundown on who Oh Wonder is, what their music is like, what I should expect, etc.
While I was able to listen to some of their songs a few days before the concert, it was very different hearing them live. And I guess that goes for any artist/band/musician out there. It’s different when you hear anything live. Anyway, I didn’t really know their songs, so I didn’t “jam out hard”, but I took LOTS OF PHOTOS. I knew I wouldn’t forgive myself if I didn’t. The setup was too beautiful, the lights were too eye-catching, and the crowd… Man, never have I seen a crowd that’s more alive and in the present. Suffice to say, I enjoyed the music and the audience.
I wasn’t even a huge fan (I’m still not), but I sincerely felt everyone’s excitement and it just filled the entire hall!
Let my photos show you how everyone was in a merry spirit that night. All photos were taken with my phone and edited in VSCO using various filters and with appropriate adjustments.
So sorry that some photos are low-quality. We were situated in the upper seats so it was hard to get close-up photos. I either had to zoom in or crop some photos.
