How To Handle A Relationship With A Big Age Gap

I like older men. Not just in terms of romantic relationships. I like talking to older people in general because I feel they make more sense and people my age are usually just after the “small talks.” I get along with women in their 30’s really well while I usually find myself crying on the inside when left with a group of people my own age.  And because of that, I took it to the next level and closed off all windows and doors and gates to men that are my age and below. To be fair, I never dated anyone my own age. It was always a guy a…

That Wedding Made Me Feel Something

Have you ever felt this strong desire to take care of someone? That you feel you have already met the person you want to be with for the rest of your life? That you don’t even want to be sick because you want to be in your best health so you can take care of this person?

    Of Relationships & Marriage

I’m writing this on a rainy Wednesday afternoon, and I’m doing so just because. Not for the views, not for the plugs, not for the exposure. I just want to write like I did before, like how it’s really supposed to be. Yesterday was Jec and I’s first anniversary as a couple – we celebrated our 1 year of being friends a month ago. It was nothing special. He didn’t visit me, didn’t bring me flowers, didn’t bring me food, didn’t surprise me in any way at all. Sure he greeted me and sang me a song, but that was about it. As I said, it was nothing special.

4 Life Lessons I Learned From ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ Film

IMAGE SOURCE Yesterday, I went out with my family and we saw this new local movie Can’t Help Falling In Love starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. I appreciated the movie because I’m a huge fan of Daniel Padilla both as an actor and as an individual, and I knew the plot would be quirky, which is something I could use right now. This is not a movie review, but more of a compilation of my observations of the movie and the lessons I learned while watching.  I’m just going to do this on a whim to lay my cards on the table and because I don’t really want to…

How It Feels To Travel With Your Person

Disclaimer: I couldn’t concentrate on work. I’m not sure if it’s a sepanx from Jec and I’s recent trip or the fact that I have my period. Either way, I’m feeling out of funk so I decided to take a breather and write a random blog post.  Yesterday, I got home from a weekend trip with Jec and his co-workers. He invited me to go with them since they were allowed to bring partners with them. It was supposed to be a team building of some sort, but it turned out to be an ordinary office outing and it was so fun! So far into 6 months of our relationship,…

    The Beauty & The Bullies

January 1, 2017 | Sunday  Earlier today, we went to my aunt’s house to celebrate New Year. As per usual, we had potluck food, some cooked at home, some delivered, played games, and exchanged stories. Also as per usual, we had fun. But I’m not here to tell you about that. I’m here to vent out on my frustrations on why my cousin is being bullied in her current school.

Fotogra Books: Small Books For Your Big Moments

A couple of weeks ago, I placed an order with Fotogra Books. There was no special event, I just simply wanted to try their service and have a Fotogra Book of my own. But, of course, being the fickle-minded individual that I am, it took me a lot of time to pick the photos, edit them, and arrange them accordingly. If you are not meticulous with things like this, it probably would have taken you faster. Anyway, so I could not put any photos without them having a theme, right? That would be pointless. It would still cost me P700+, for the record. I thought that Jec and I have…

Find A Guy Who Doesn’t Care

Find a guy who doesn’t care, and be thankful for it. Find a guy who doesn’t care when you aren’t sporting the newest lipstick shade because he’d want to kiss you anyway. A guy who doesn’t care if you have too many pimples because he prefers to see you in your rawest form. A guy who doesn’t care if you don’t shave your legs for a week because he’d still call you beautiful. A guy who doesn’t care if you don’t know everything he does because he’d willingly teach you them anyway. A guy who doesn’t care if you don’t have it all together (yet) because he’d go through the thicks…
