Last Saturday, Dec. 30, Jec and I had dinner at Beeffalo, and drinks at The Minokaua. I’ve already been to Beeffalo twice. I don’t like steak, but Beeffalo’s is so good I thought Jec would like it.

I like older men.

Not just in terms of romantic relationships. I like talking to older people in general because I feel they make more sense and people my age are usually just after the “small talks.” I get along with women in their 30’s really well while I usually find myself crying on the inside when left with a group of people my own age.

And because of that, I took it to the next level and closed off all windows and doors and gates to men that are my age and below. To be fair, I never dated anyone my own age. It was always a guy a year or more older.

And so I met Jec. We have an 8-year gap between our ages, but it didn’t make us shrug off the other person. In fact, we got along really well even from the start.

Yesterday, I went out with my family and we saw this new local movie Can’t Help Falling In Love starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. I appreciated the movie because I’m a huge fan of Daniel Padilla both as an actor and as an individual, and I knew the plot would be quirky, which is something I could use right now.

This is not a movie review, but more of a compilation of my observations of the movie and the lessons I learned while watching.  I’m just going to do this on a whim to lay my cards on the table and because I don’t really want to put a lot of thought into it. I just want to pour out my thoughts.. as my blog’s purpose should be.

Disclaimer: I couldn’t concentrate on work. I’m not sure if it’s a sepanx from Jec and I’s recent trip or the fact that I have my period. Either way, I’m feeling out of funk so I decided to take a breather and write a random blog post.

Yesterday, I got home from a weekend trip with Jec and his co-workers. He invited me to go with them since they were allowed to bring partners with them. It was supposed to be a team building of some sort, but it turned out to be an ordinary office outing and it was so fun! So far into 6 months of our relationship, Jec and I have already traveled many places, most of which are in Manila. LOL, I know, not big, but it counts as a travel experience since #traffic and #annoyingpeople and #busyManilalife and more #traffic. I can say that I pretty much know now how Jec’s mood works. I can tell when he’s starting to be irritated or when he’s enjoying his time. People say traveling can make or break you as a couple. I’d say it only brings us closer and allows us to know each other a whole lot better.

Earlier today, we went to my aunt’s house to celebrate New Year. As per usual, we had potluck food, some cooked at home, some delivered, played games, and exchanged stories. Also as per usual, we had fun. But I’m not here to tell you about that. I’m here to vent out on my frustrations on why my cousin is being bullied in her current school.

A couple of weeks ago, I placed an order with Fotogra Books. There was no special event, I just simply wanted to try their service and have a Fotogra Book of my own. But, of course, being the fickle-minded individual that I am, it took me a lot of time to pick the photos, edit them, and arrange them accordingly. If you are not meticulous with things like this, it probably would have taken you faster.

Anyway, so I could not put any photos without them having a theme, right? That would be pointless. It would still cost me P700+, for the record. I thought that Jec and I have been dating for a few months now and when I checked my love counter app (is that what you call it?), I saw that we have already surpassed 100 days, so I thought of using “100 Days” as the theme for my first Fotogra Books.
