When I was starting out with my skincare journey, I completely ditched the thought of adding essential oils in my daily routine. I thought it was unnecessary, expensive, and too lavish. Yeah, I thought of oils as something lavish – something that only the rich would use. LOL!

Unbeknownst to me, oil is apparently a “must have” in every woman’s skincare routine. First and foremost, I know it sounds ironic but applying (argan) oil on your face helps you minimize sebum production! Other than that, oils have a lot of skincare benefits. Keep reading to know what these benefits are!

When we encounter the word “single parent”, we often think of moms, don’t we? It’s always a rare chance to bump into single dads. There’s also a notion that dads are clueless with raising children. And in raising children, challenges are inevitable. There are just days that you want to drop everything, but of course, you can’t!

Since my blog is basically focused on awareness, I want to share this guest blog post Daniel of Dads Solo wrote for me. I’m sure some of you can relate whether you’re also a single parent or you’re a child of a single parent. Wanna know how single dads overcome challenges in life? Then keep reading!

In this world of make-up and a strong emphasis on physical appearance, we tend to become more and more preoccupied to look good. I’m not saying this is a bad thing, it’s interesting to experience new beauty routines. We watch famous YouTubers and we copy them. But it is so important for us to be careful and responsible on what products we choose to use.

What are the ingredients?
Are they tested on animals?
Did you ever think of purchasing a cosmetic or body care product
based on its fat content or its manufacturing process?
Your new foundation looks so good on you, but is it also good for your skin?

Once I got those questions answered for myself I realized how much damage I brought to my own skin. This is why I thought I would recommend 6 first steps to transform your daily beauty routine in a more natural and healthy one.

A couple of days ago, Kyle of MoneyMax.ph emailed me and asked if he could write a guest blog post for me. Of course, I said yes! I was thrilled with the fact that this is the very first guest post my blog is receiving, and that his proposed article fits my niche perfectly.  In fact, it both fits the “lifestyle” and the “personal” categories.

You may have noticed that I have been writing quite a lot of blog posts about adulting lately. My number one drive comes from seeing a lack of helpful and/or updated articles online about applying for this I.D. or getting this kind of subscription – all adulting stuff that are just so darn confusing without a proper guide. Sadly, most of these adulting stuff do not come with any handbook. So whenever I undergo any of these things, I make sure I write about them as a piece of reference for me, as well as for you, my dear readers.

So let’s talk about something we all hear from our elders but never seem to get the gist of – LOANS

acne

If there’s one thing I hate about my skin, it’s that I’m acne-prone. I have an oily face, too, so it’s a bad combination, really. Aside from it looking not so great, it also messes up with my confidence and beauty. Really, there are days that I don’t want to go out of the house because of my giant acnes. To add insult to injury, I am also a face picker! I pick my face when I’m stressed or anxious. I pick my face when I feel I’m about to grow a pimple. I even pick my face when an acne is about to heal because it means I have dry skin to peel off!

With all these horrible things I do to my face, it’s about time I start treating it right. After all, I’m already in my 20’s, and acnes do not really stop growing when you turn 20. Your 20’s is also a great time to start smearing on those skincare products you see your mom or your titas do. Your 30-year-old self will surely thank you for it.

With all these bad experiences, of course, I also have a list of to-do’s when it comes to prevent acne breakouts. These are all based on my personal experiences and exploration, so results may vary from skin to skin.
